Biography

My name is Braedon Salz, but call me Brady. I like to sign things as b$.

I'm an Electrical Engineer helping design the future of satellite telecommunications at Astranis. I got my BS and then my MS from the University of Illinois. My graduate studies focused on having a great time working in the Integrated Circuits and Systems Group led by Professor Pavan Hanumolu. I might even go back one day.

I'm a strong believer in open source hardware, and attempt to make my work as open as possible. I consider myself a “full stack electrical engineer”, meaning I enjoy working from ASICs to websites, and a little bit of everything in between. My favorite tools are: Silicon, Solder, and Sublime Text.
